School in a Box
Children are the future of today, yet right now there are over 1 billion children living in extreme poverty and over 8.52 billion living in constant starvation, every year over 50 million children suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Tens of thousands of kids are homeless, and even more are unable to receive any form of education. The 3rd Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition encourages everyone to donate one dollar for the welfare of our future generation. This international event will make the world aware of the poor conditions millions of kids live in.
With the help of UNICEF, we can save many kids' lives. They work tirelessly to help children and their families. They do whatever it takes to ensure children survive and thrive.
UNICEF’s School-in-a-box transforms any outdoor space into a school. It contains everything teachers and students need: pencil crayons, notebooks, pencils, chalk, exercise books, posters, rulers, erasers, a globe, a solar powered radio, scissors and even chalkboard paint to turn the box itself into a chalk board. The entire kit provides supplies for 40 students, which is equivalent to one community school. In addition to the supplies inside the kit, this gift provides children with a safe place to learn and brings a sense of normalcy back into a child's life, especially in communities that have had their schools destroyed in a crisis.
Each school-in-a-box costs $240 and we are hoping to raise enough funds to purchase 40 of these kits and to transform 40 communities. We want to introduce hope and confidence to every child we can reach. We look forward to your care and support.
