The Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition is jointly initiated by the Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition Organizing Committee and the Canada Youth Arts Development Foundation. It is a global competition for children and youth artwork, divided into submission and live competition stages. The competition aims to build friendships among international youths, promote global cultural exchange, and fully develop and showcase the artistic literacy and talents of young people. Additionally, this competition aims to raise awareness and concern among all societal sectors about youth, particularly children affected by disasters returning to school, and to encourage more people to participate and support.
Our event’s purpose is to raise funds for UNICEF’s “School-in-a-Box” project, which provides educational facilities for forty students, equivalent to the scale of a small community school. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF to help disaster-affected children receive the necessary health and education support.
Children are our future. Every child has the right to grow up healthy, yet not all children have the conditions to realize this right. These children need more than just the support of governments and charitable organizations; they also require the attention and assistance of society as a whole.
The Youth World Cup Live Painting Competition, the premier international event in youth painting art, is officially endorsed by UNICEF and is often referred to as the “Olympics” of youth painting. Serving as a major global initiative to aid impoverished children, the competition has successfully held eleven editions with the support of UNICEF, world leaders, artists, media, and volunteers.
With over 100,000 participants annually from 50+ countries, including China, Canada, the US, the UK, Russia, France, and Italy, the competition has raised over 260,000.00 Canadian dollars. This funding has provided educational opportunities for around 40,000 children. Recognized as a key partner by UNICEF, the competition plays a pivotal role in supporting global efforts to educate underprivileged children.
